Referrals (Receiving)

When receiving referrals, look for the insurance, location, and reason for referral If it is outside of criteria (insurance/diagnoses wise), call the doctor’s office and let them know we are not able to take patient. Once this is done:*Go to Glip Account Click on "Patient Referrals" Click on the “+” and go to “New Task" Task Title- Patient Last Name, First name (Date of Birth) Assignee- *Your Name* Start Date- The current date, to 7 days Section- Location Description- Parent's phone number If there is any documents, “Attach file", ScanSnap Folder, and scan in papers.
